The same day we had the Easter celebrations with Steve's family, we had an egg hunt with my family. We went from one to the next (which is how it goes sometimes).
The kids were able to find the eggs in Grandpa and Nana's backyard and then once they found 13 and one hard boiled egg with their name on it, they could go pick a prize from a basket. Brinton insisted on only picking up green eggs, which got difficult toward the end, but we made some trades with less picky kids and he was victorious. We got a teether ring for Conley, Zander picked a paddle and ball toy that he really just waved around and hit things with and Brinton chose a set of jacks. They always have so much fun with all their cousins and it was great to have my brother, Eric and his family in town to celebrate as well! After two Easter egg hunts, I didn't even worry about baskets for the kids on Easter Sunday. I don't really feel bad about not participating in the Easter Bunny lie. Sorry if some of you are appalled :)
