Since Steve's dad remarried, we had a different Easter celebration with his new wife's family. Pam's family has a tradition to have a big breakfast and then an Easter egg hunt at her dad's house (who randomly enough gave me my patriarchal blessing when I was younger). We met at a church and were lucky to have both Trish and Paula (Steve's sisters) and their families with us.
I had to take a picture of Conley and his cousin Sophie in their carseats because they are only six weeks apart. They had some eggs hidden in the church for the younger kids so they could find them easier. Zander found a candy bar and that was all he cared about from that point on. After the eggs were found at the church, there was a scavenger hunt that led us to Pam's father's house where there was a big egg hunt.
Zander found a few eggs, but Brinton had to get a full basket before he was satisfied. While we were there, the boys played on a playground for a little bit and we fed some apples to a horse that lives next door. There was way too much candy in the end, and we really didn't get through all of it before I threw it away (sorry Pam). However, the kids had a blast and we had a great time with Steve's brothers and sisters and their kids.
