It's been quite a while since I have posted, but we have been sick and busy. My sister-in-law took some pictures of Zander just recently and they turned out really cute. Here are a bunch to look at.He has such a funny personality and is laughing all the time. Just over a week ago, he figured out how to army crawl and is all over the place now. He loves to suck on anything he can get his mouth on and has just started getting up on his hands and knees. Real crawling is coming soon! However, I must say that he is fast for how he gets around now. I can't believe he is nearly nine months old. Time flies.

A few people in my neighborhood have decided to put together a little preschool. It's really not a big deal, but will just help our kids get out and play (and learn, too). Today was the first day and Brinton had a lot of fun. I am excited for him to learn even more and can't believe how old he is getting. Technically, in August it would be time for his first year of preschool. However, we moms thought it would be fun for them to start now. Here's a group picture of the kids today. He's not looking, but what a cute little guy!

Today was my birthday. That's not the surprise. I wasn't planning for much of an eventful day. Of all the days of the week, Mondays are the longest for Steve to be gone. I didn't think I would have a cake or anything, and we agreed on my present being some pampering I am getting on Friday. I ended up spending the day with some of my family watching a girl movie and having Panda Express for lunch. I love Panda! My parents were taking us to Olive Garden (which I also love) for dinner that night, so other than the errands and phone calls that I had to make . . . boring, that was pretty much it, except that Steve brought me a present. If you live around Pleasant Grove, you have probably tried the strawberries and cream that they have once a year. Last year, I discovered (through my sister-in-law) that you can purchase the vanilla ice cream mix they use from Maceys. Quickly after that, I learned that Maceys only carries it during the week of "Strawberry Days." I was obsessed with the strawberries and cream that week. I really think I ate just that for three days straight. We're talking all meals and snacks! I am a very healthy person. Anyway, it is made by Meadow Gold and they have a warehouse in Orem. Of course, they don't sell to the public, the jerks. However, they did tell me a restaurant that they sell to who uses it for their ice cream machines. I have been begging Steve to go ask them to just sell him a gallon for me. That is WAY out of his comfort zone, so it didn't happen. Until today!!! He arrived with three gallons of the cream and like ten boxes of strawberries. I can't tell you how excited I was about this, but I couldn't stop smiling. After dinner, we all met at my parents' house to have my cake - strawberries and cream. It was delightful. I have the best husband. He really didn't want to do that, but he did it anyway, and surprised me at the same time. It's probably strange to some that I am this excited about my surprise gift, but you probably haven't had the strawberries and cream. You can talk to me after you have :)
