I had to just put some random pictures of Rakelli here because she is so cute.
We love having her around and all three of the boys absolutely adore her. I love her painted nails and her tiny bum with ruffles on her pants. She is starting to be awake more and more and both Brinton and Zander are so excited when she is opening her eyes. We are having such fun with her :)
I thought I better post some pictures of the kids at Easter.
We did the annual Easter Egg Hunt at my parents' house again and the kids had a blast. I love the masses of children waiting to run outside to find their treats! Each kid had one egg with their name on it in addition to 10 plastic eggs to find. Once they found the one with their name, they would bring it to Nana and pick a prize from a basket. There were a lot of great prizes and the kids have so much fun picking a larger item out at the end. In case you were wondering, Rakelli slept the whole time. However, her brothers found extra eggs for her and helped pick her out a prize as well. After the hunt, we had a barbecue there before we headed over to an egg hunt with Steve's side of the family. Unfortunately, they changed their plans last minute and we mostly missed their egg hunt because they didn't tell us. We were still able to visit with them for a bit though and the kids did end up with a lot of candy regardless. We always have a lot of fun doing the fun Easter things and this year we were able to talk to Brinton about the religious side of the holiday. He even gave a talk in church on Easter Sunday about Jesus. He did a great job :) We hope you all had a great Easter, too!
Right around the time Rakelli was born, Conley decided to start climbing everything. I mean everything. About a week after she was born, I found him up on the top bunk bed. The ladder to get up there is at a 90 degree angle!
He is constantly climbing on the dresser in his room and from there, he likes to play in the windowsill. We have a bar-height table and he has no problem getting up there whenever he is bored. He can even climb up on my bed which is also quite tall. He climbs from the toilet onto the counter in the bathroom and from there heads into the sink. We have had to get him out of there a few times because he was crying after he turned the water on with him still in the sink :) He is a lot of fun, but boy is he busy. I keep hoping he will stop getting himself into precarious situations, but I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, we just hope he doesn't fall and hurt himself too much.
