Brinton's little pre-school has been going on some field trips this summer while we aren't actually in classes. He has been having a lot of fun going out with all his friends to do so may fun things.I think the first field trip we had, was going to the Lehi Fire Department. Brinton, Zander and I arrived a little earlier than the rest of the group and they were really nice. They gave us coloring books and suckers while we waited and then they had a movie to watch once everyone arrived. The boys got to look around the fire truck and play inside a little. The firemen were really nice and happy to see the kids there.A little bit later, we went to the zoo. I was happy Steve was available to go with us to that field trip especially. I love the zoo though and Brinton had a lot of fun this year with all the animals. Zander pointed at all of them suggesting that we should let him touch them. It was pretty hot, but we all did okay. We love to go to the bird show they have there each year. It is a nice place to take a rest and sit in the shade while looking at some birds fly dangerously close. One of the hawks actually touched Steve's head as it flew across the audience. We went to the Church History Museum to look at the "I am a Child of God" exhibit. We had never been there and I was really happy to see how much fun the kids could have there. They had so many interactive things for them to do and they really had a blast. Lucky for us, my Dad works in the Church Office Building which is about a block away. All of us met him in the cafeteria there for lunch which was delicious. Then, my family went with him to his office and visited for a little. Brinton has wanted to go back to Grandpa's work ever since.

You guys got some great pictures! Darn my crappy camera!!! Oh well. Glad to see Brinton and Zander have enjoyed these trips as much as my boys have. Some day you will have to show me how you do those fun collages of pictures on your blog.
