Just this morning, I found Brinton sticking his hand in the back of our speaker. There is a hole in the back that I can barely fit my hand through. He, of course, has no troubles. I told him not to put things in there and he started to take out what he had shoved in there recently. (Be aware that I have taken many things out from time to time and it had only been about two weeks since I had last cleared it all out.) He pulled out a wrapper, a small toy, a burp cloth, a bulb syringe, a fish bean bag, and fifteen balls! I was amazed as he continued to pull more and more out. It was quite the pile at the end. This got me thinking about all the things that he puts in random places just because he can fit them. Some of the best are a penny in the shredder, his blanket and binky inside a small compartment in his step stool and a dust pan and small broom behind our bed (we bought another set before we found it and still haven't got the old one because there is too much food storage under our bed). His binky has had its own number of random homes: The inside of Brint's pillowcase, under a number of dressers, through the hole in a toothbrush holder, in the movie drawer (placed right between two DVDs), and inside shoes. Seriously, anywhere he can fit something, it must belong. He makes me laugh all the time when I find where he put something because it is usually so random.

That's so funny! I'm still wondering where some of our stuff is... I guess I should get down on two year old's level and look!

I can't believe all the objects that came out of that speaker - how could he have stuck his hand in that far??? I've learned that there isn't really a limit to things they can do!!! Thayne stuck a dime in the CD drive of our computer - LUCKILY we got it out before we took it to a shop!!! SO CREATIVE, those boys!!!!

I don't have many suggestions for getting rid of TV shows, but we play kids music almost constantly at our house. Thayne will listen and play at the same time, but I also like it because learns lyrics and melodies. He even has his favorite songs!

We have a speaker like that too and we're always finding surprises in it. Aren't kids great? :)

I really can't believe all of that was in there! That is hilarious.

Lexi really liked shows, too. It was a phase (2-3ish) and I really tried to get her to watch things that helped her learn or had a good moral. I don't know...I was one of those kids that always had movies on, too...so I don't really have any good suggestions.
