Conley is finally starting to show an interest in walking. A couple days after Christmas (when he was 13 months), I put him down and he took about eight steps. Then he realized he was on his own and slowly crouched down and finished with crawling. It was another three full weeks before he wanted to do that again. He has been having a lot of fun walking to not only Steve and me, but also to his brothers. They sure love that, too!
Conley is such a happy little guy and he laughs at all of us. We love to play with him because it is always rewarding. Who knew I was so funny? Anyway, I love the picture really close of his face because you can really see his eye color. They are brown by the pupil and then kind of blue-green on the outside. I don't even know what to call that color. When we have Conley practice walking to us, Zander always says, "My turn!" So then he walks to us, which isn't exciting because he can already walk just fine, but he thinks it's awesome.
I couldn't take pictures of Conley without Zander demanding some turns, so I thought I would include them here. Brinton was at preschool during all the fun and didn't get some new shots, in case you were wondering. Conley still likes to crawl most of the time, but I think within the next few weeks, he will have switched over to walking. To be honest, that's just what we need since I'm due with our fourth in two months :)

Oh my gosh Zander looks like a little miniature Loren/Leon. I love it!!! Can't believe you're due so soon. How fun. You are going to have your hands FULL. As if you don't already. :) good luck!
VERY cute! I'm so glad that little Conley is getting this walking thing down. He DOES really need to get very good at it in the next couple of months. And what a fine job Zander is doing at his walking, too!
Thanks for offering to photo shop my pictures for me. It's not that important though, I only wanted it to put on the blog, and I already posted both of them, so it's all good. :) Great, I'm in charge again. Hmmm, I'll get thinking about it. That's a good first step to getting together, right? Ha ha ha.
