Steve decided that we should wake up earlier than the kids and get ready for the day Christmas morning. I would much rather not be ready for the day and get extra sleep pretty much always, but I agreed to get up early. I ended up starting to get ready and realized that the kids weren't getting up soon enough, so I went back to bed :) Happy Christmas for me! The boys got up a little after 8:00, which is later than normal (but they had a later night on Christmas Eve). Once they were up, they could go through their stockings while they waited for the present fun to begin.
We had a great time opening gifts. Conley got a plastic candy cane tube filled with M&Ms which was all he cared about, even though he wasn't eating the candy. We always go to my parents' house on Christmas morning for brunch. We have great breakfast food with a little heritage mixed in. My mom always makes aebleskivers which is a Danish food that is basically like a pancake ball. We have that with french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, orange juice and chocolate milk. It is always delish. After eating everyone opens presents that we exchange with eachother and the kids each have one from Grandpa and Nana. After visiting for a little while, we missed some games becuase we headed over to Steve's dad's house. We visited there for a little and did some more presents, of course. Then, we were home by 5:30 to just enjoy our own family time. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have because we were too busy having fun all day. It's always fun to spend extra time with family and this was no exception.

I got the exact same blue jacket from aeropostale. :) We could be twinners. How's that baby cooking? Have you started buying girl stuff yet? I'm so excited to see her! I love new babies. Especially yours, because they are extra small.
