Last week, we had a family reunion with my immediate family. Boo to Eric and Kim for not being rich enough to visit for a little camp out, we missed you :)
We started out with a hike to the Timpanogos Caves. I haven't ever done it before, and it's been quite a while for Steve. Most of my brothers had done it in the past (when they were teenagers). Poor Steve had to carry two kids for a lot of the hike because Brinton wouldn't let his uncles carry him in their backpacks. We ended up having three pregnant women on top of the 16 kids (10 and under), and we all made it! Brinton liked the caves and thought it was really cool when they turned out the lights and it was pitch black.
We camped in the Mt. Timpanogos camp grounds for a couple nights and all of our kids had so much fun together. I think Brinton was in heaven following around different groups of cousins. We had some fun projects for the kids and delicious food. Don't be like my lovingly rude brothers who made fun of me for bundling up Zander so much (with the socks on his hands). I tell you . . . I froze the first night, so I made sure that me and the kids were better prepared for night number two even though they both slept totally fine both nights. Zander did really well considering that he was stuck in a pack and play for most of the time. I didn't really want him eating all the rocks and sticks, so he only got to walk around in the tent.
We went to Cascade Springs one day and it was so fun to see all the kids trying to touch the water from the bridge.
On the way home, some of the guys decided to go mountain biking. My dad even went, what a sport. However, he fell a few times. Just slid down the mountain about ten feet, that's all!!! Ahhh, I am glad they are all safe. We had a lot of fun and I feel really blessed to have such a great family.

Boo to you too, but i wouldn't have come anyway, (only because Kim's sister was getting married that week)
That sounds like a whole lot more fun than our family reunions! The pictures make it look beautiful up there. Glad the boys did well. Oh, and congrats on your pregnancy. :)
What a fun trip! I hope that your dad didnt get too hurt when he fell. Glad you all enjoyed your family time together!
What a fun family reunion! I LOVE American Fork Canyon. The caves and Cascade Springs are both so fun. I bet the kids loved camping too!
That is quite the family reunion, but then again, your family is awesome at planning fun activities. I am going to pass on some of your ideas to my family! :) This just happened, right???? It's hard to tell from the picture with Zander all bundled whether this was last month or in November???? Ha ha!! Your dad is awesome and I hope the bruises are gone! :)
