I know that it is already the 12th, but I thought I would post our New Year's Eve festivities. My brother was still in town and we were able to have a party at my parent's house with everyone in my family and a couple extra guests as well. I ended up planning the party . . . mostly on the 31st because I have been so busy this holiday season. We started off with some fondue. Thanks to all that let me borrow your fondue pots. With over 30 people, it was nice to have several. We had a couple of oil fondues for frying chicken and steak cubes and of course cheese, chocolate, and I tried a white chocolate this year, too. I love white chocolate (yum). Anyway I had games planned pretty much up until 11:45. I wasn't really sure how everyone would like that, but it turned out really fun. Some of my favorite moments were:

Paper Bag Ballet(You have to grab the paper bag with your mouth while balancing on one foot. If you can do it, you cut some off the bag and keep going until you can go no lower.)

The Superlative Game

(WIDEST to Spread Feet)

(WEIRDEST face made - sorry Kim, I couldn't resist)

(STRONGEST toes, SLOWEST push-up)

Anyway, you probably get the idea on that game. It was really fun because everyone was pretty competitive. We had a board game tournament and played some other group games. The kids had stuff to do downstairs and it worked pretty good to have an adult just check on them. They watched a movie, played, had a coloring contest, made noise makers, and more. It ended up being a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came and made it that way!

Sorry I didn't make it. I think my invitation got lost in the mail. :) We played the paper bag game last year for Brandon's birthday but we did it on two feet. I can't imagine trying to do it on one!

Wow - you are quite the planner! That's awesome. It beats our party of trying to put together a puzzle.

It sounded fun when you were telling me about that night in person, but the pictures only confirm that your party was PERFECT!!!! Too bad New Year's Day is a year away - I'm coming to your next party!!!
