My brother, Eric, and his family came for about two weeks over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. It was a lot of fun to see them while they were here. I clearly became a favorite "friend" to a niece I didn't really know and of course got along with the other two nephews as well. One even asked me to go lay in his bed with him so he could go to sleep. He's just four (I think). Anyway, on the 26th, all the adults from my side of the family went to the Salt Lake Temple for a live session. I have never done a live session before and it was something to remember. That temple is so pretty. This was the first time we have all been there together and I am so glad Eric arranged the outing. It was a great idea, thanks Eric! Oh, and thanks Jake and Marcie for watching my boys for so long :)

That is awesome. There's nothing better than being in the temple with your family. Roland and I used to live In Salt Lake (by Trolley Square) and I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Salt Lake Temple and the live sessions. I think everyone should have that experience at least once. I'm glad you could go!

We got married in that temple, but I had never been to an endowment session there until our 10th anniversary last November. It was truly the most wonderful way to spend our anniversary. I love that temple - there's just something about it. (plus that's where we were married)

That is awesome! My little sister and her husband are going thru the temple at the end of Febuary and I am so exited to be there with ALL of us finally! It is the best feeling to be able to be together as a family! Live sessions are cool arent they!
