Last Sunday was Conley's blessing day. I was up super late the night before getting ready for the luncheon we would have after the block of church and then sacrament meeting was at 9:00 am. Yikes! I don't appreciate this early morning stuff :) Anyway, we got there on time and I was lucky enough to have my parents and four of my five brothers (and their families) come. Steve had two brothers (and their families) and his parents, too. We felt the love and support from all who came and appreciate your efforts. Surely it was even harder for you to get to my church that is a block away from my house than it was for us to get there. Steve did a great job with the blessing although I can only take everyone else's words for that. I was sort of wrestling with Zander during most of it, and only heard snip-its. Zander is quite the daddy's boy and really wanted Steve. Some of our family stayed through the block of church, but not all of them. I am sure the primary actually appreciated that because I only brought five extra children, rather than fifteen (that's not including nursery aged children). We have a lot of family and we love it. After the block, we all met at my parents' house for a luncheon and visiting. It turned out quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Here's the latest family picture that we had taken that day:Conley was sleeping most of the time so I didn't even take any good pictures of him alone in his blessing outfit. My sister-in-law did a photo shoot with one a couple of weeks ago. I am crossing my fingers that it turned out :) Here are a few pictures of Conley later that day. I guess he was comfortable, though that's a little hard to believe.
