At the beginning of this week, I decided that I wanted to get my neighbor gifts out of the way. I ended up having a lot of fun with them. I made a little card that said, "May Your Christmas be Merry and 'Sprite'." Then I attached it to a 2-liter bottle of Sprite, of course. It wasn't enough to have the card, so I made little reindeer out of them. It was definitely nothing fancy, but it was so funny to me when they were all grouped together for the different stages. If you are reading this, chances are you probably received one of these gifts. If you are interested in doing this for a gift yourself, there are a few things you should know. First, if you fill your ENTIRE cart up with Sprite bottles at the grocery store, people cannot resist asking you what you are doing or making a comment about how you must really love Sprite. Second, it is required to get an additional, empty cart at the checkout so there are not a million bags piling up at the end of the lane. And third, no matter how you pack these in your car, they will roll at some point. Hopefully they didn't get too shook up :) It was a fun, easy gift to do and I am so glad to have it out of the way. Oh, and I am done shopping and also have my Christmas cards out in the mail already, too. I am so on top of it this year! It's so nice that now I can just enjoy the holiday and not stress about anything. Hopefully, you are all feeling the same way . . . it's wonderful.

You're so amazing. It was so fun to open our door and see a happy reindeer waiting for us the other day! Thanks!

I read your post but was not on the receiving end of one of those reindeer sprite bottles. I'm okay with it. :) We aren't exactly neighbors. Another way to not stres about Christmas is to just buy a $10,000 baby in January and then you don't have to do Christmas. That's how we're rolling this year. :) And luckily our ward donates food at our Christmas party instead of making neighbor gifts. So we are home free this year!

I can't believe how much I've missed!! I LOVED the Sprite idea and wish I would have thought of it first!!!! Maybe next year... hehehe!! Too cute! Oh, you must have been the one that bought out Wal-Mart. I was trying to buy some Sprite for $.69 at Wal-Mart (price match), but they were completely OUT - I was a little surprised, but just figured people really like sprite during the holidays. Then I got your little gift!!! Thayne keeps asking where Rudolph went, but we drank it a while ago!!!

Brinton is HILARIOUS with that potty!! No need to rush potty training, at least he like playing with it:).

I LOVE real trees. Your chopping tree info is so cute and funny. Jake and I used to go up to the mountains as well, but we haven't done it for a couple of years. It looks so pretty - I love your blue ornaments. I bet the your kids love the decorations and light!!

Way to go with all your shopping!!!! I'm not finished yet, but hopefully soon. It is such a great feeling to be able to enjoy the season without stressing about what's left to do!!

I loved the sprite idea! Every time I open the fridge Pete asks for a drink of the "Happy Drink" because of the cute face on the bottle. Thank you!!
